Queen Pippin
A crispy apple with a sweet and slightly flavoured flesh, it perfectly illustrates the two-tone striped apples, having a skin from yellow to red going through all shades of red and orange. This variety is demanding and capricious but is perfect for cakes and juices. It has a special own fragrance: some flavours of nuts; particularly recommended for Tatin pies. It is harvested ripen with several pickings in the orchard (there may be up to 7 harvests during the season), in August and September.
